By creating an account or using BookSignal (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). The Service is operated by BookSignal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
As an author, you may upload manuscripts for analysis and listing in the BookSignal catalog. By uploading a manuscript, you represent and warrant that:
You retain all ownership of your manuscript. You grant BookSignal a limited, non-exclusive license to temporarily store and analyze your manuscript for the sole purpose of generating a discovery profile (“Book Intelligence Report”) and associated metadata. Your manuscript file is permanently deleted from our systems once analysis is complete. Manuscripts are never displayed to any third party. Only the derived metadata, such as genre, themes, and reader-fit signals, is stored and used to power your listing in the Service.
BookSignal is currently in beta. During this period, features may change, be discontinued, or be temporarily unavailable. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes that affect their accounts or content.
Certain accounts may receive promotional benefits (such as free listings, extended free periods, or included features) as part of a specific offer. These benefits are tied to the individual account and are non-transferable. A “free lifetime listing” means the listed book will remain free of monthly listing fees for as long as BookSignal offers the service; it does not guarantee perpetual availability of the platform itself.
BookSignal subscription fees are charged in advance and processed through Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page and may be updated with advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new rate.
Annual plans are non-refundable. When you subscribe to an annual plan, you are committing to the full subscription year. No refunds or credits are issued for unused months if you cancel before the end of the annual period.
Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. Your listing remains active through the end of the paid period.
If a payment fails, BookSignal will retry automatically. Your listing will remain active during the retry window. If payment cannot be collected after the retry period, your listing will be paused. You may reactivate at any time by updating your payment method and resubscribing from your dashboard.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOKSIGNAL LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOKSIGNAL LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 USD.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
